Hello Slayden Baptist Church, 

Here are some quick announcements: 

A CALL TO PRAYER

• Many of our members are sick with covid and some of them are in serious condition. 

• I want to call us to prayer and fasting this week:

  • Beginning Sunday Night we will meet in the Sanctuary for prayer at 6:30pm. We will continue this prayer meeting and fast every evening at 6:30 pm until the current crisis is over. 

  • We will pray for our members’ healing 

  • We will also pray for the Afghanistan church

SUNDAY, AUGUST 22

• Sunday school 

  • Adult Classes can make their own decisions about meeting. There will be adult SS classes meeting, so if your class is not meeting, you may attend a class that is meeting. 

  • Alan and I will cover the age group (nursery through 2nd grade). 

  • Carol and Jake will cover all student Life Groups.

• Worship Service

  • We WILL HAVE A WORSHIP SERVICE AT 10:45 AM. 

  • The nursery will be open during the worship service.
